EDMONTON - There’s still a couple of games left for the Edmonton Eskimos this year, but quarterback Mike Reilly is already making plans for the off-season.

Reilly’s first season as a CFL starter had its share of ups and downs.

There were rookie mistakes — like the pick six to Saskatchewan’s Rey Williams in the season opener.

There was the brilliant 511-yard passing game in Toronto on Aug. 18 in a losing cause.

Reilly has thrown more TD passes (22) than interceptions (16) and, as was demonstrated in Friday’s loss to Calgary, cannot be blamed for all the picks.

Working behind a rebuilding offensive line, Reilly has taken more than his share of hits on a team that’s allowed 53 sacks.

While he has to take care of business in the next two weeks, he’s thinking ahead to how he can run a more effective offence next year.

So, he’s going to do this off-season what he didn’t have a chance to do this off-season — visit each member of the receiving crew for a week.
