While Concussion-Gate is thankfully behind him, unfortunately so is the Edmonton Eskimos’ best chance at the last remaining crossover playoff spot.

So what is in store for Mike Reilly over these last four weeks of the regular season?

“I’m the starting quarterback of this team, so I would expect …” he said. “We haven’t had that conversation, but we haven’t had that conversation in 13 weeks. Until I hear otherwise, I expect to start every week.”

As does Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed.

“Absolutely. Mike was prepared last week and Mike is prepared to continue on,” he said. “I think it’s tremendously good that Mike is ready to go, to help him continue in his growth and to help continue to put this franchise in a good position.”

DUSTUP: Tempers flared at Eskimos practice as a tussle broke out between linebacker Damaso Munoz and offensive lineman Christopher Mercer.
