WINNIPEG - Mike Reilly doesn’t expect the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to roll out the red carpet for him to run all over on Friday.

Just because the Edmonton Eskimos quarterback scrambled for more than 100 yards in a 25-7 victory last week doesn’t mean he is getting geared up to do it again in Friday’s rematch.

“It’s tough to beat a team twice and when you play against them right away, they remember the loss pretty well because it just happened,” said Reilly, who also threw for three touchdowns in the front end of the home-and-away series. “They have a very good defence and they played us tough, especially in the second half.”

Last week, 89 of Reilly’s 113 rushing yards came in the first half, including a 45-yard draw play, before the Bombers made adjustments at halftime.

So Reilly may need to rely on more gun and less run this time around.

Though, the Bombers aren’t taking anything for granted.
