EDMONTON - Simeon Rottier's performance and Kavis Reed's overall ability to lead this team beyond the end of the 2013 season?

Is it just me, or did Ed Hervey's comments this week raise more questions than they answered?

The Edmonton Eskimos general manager finally spoke publicly Tuesday for the first time since announcing head coach Kavis Reed to a one-year contract extension back in Week 2.

Fast forward through the seven-straight losses since -- not to mention countless requests from local media -- and Hervey broke the silence by calling out his offensive co-ordinator, a defensive scheme he felt has been too passive and one single, solitary player in all his 46-man active roster.
