EDMONTON - It's the same sorry story for the sad sack/snake bit Edmonton Eskimos every week now.

Quarterback Mike Reilly threw for more than 300 yards for the third consecutive game.

The Eskimos scored 27 or more points for the fourth consecutive game.

Edmonton's defence gave up 30 or more points for the fifth consecutive game.

Head coach Kavis Reed, for the fourth straight game, made a decision which costs the game.

The Eskimos were close yet again with no cigar, except the one of the exploding variety they seem light up late in every game.

Stir. Repeat.

Over. And over.

Again. And again.

The only thing which wasn't part and package of their 30-27 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders before 41,868 Saturday at Commonwealth Stadium was that the offensive coordinators didn't fail miserably with their half time “adjustments” and the Eskimos didn't implode in the third quarter.
