EDMONTON - The billboards promoting the game had Mike Reilly's smiling mug with the words: “Here, kitty kitty.”

The Edmonton Eskimos left it up to Mother Nature to apply the water.

But as feline-unfriendly as the rain-soaked environment was, the B.C. Lions came away with a 17-3 victory in front of an announced crowd of 31,310 at Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday night.

And despite last week's water-logged win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Guelph, Ont., the Eskimos appeared very much like a fair-weather team.
