EDMONTON - He’s listed officially as a game-time decision.

Don’t be surprised if all-star slotback Fred Stamps sits out Saturday night’s game at Commonwealth Stadium against the B.C. Lions (7:30 p.m., TSN, 630 CHED).

After all, he hasn’t fully taken part in a week of practice since the beginning of training camp. And it’s gotten to the point where, despite playing in both games so far, he has barely done anything, preparation-wise, for the one this week.

“Fred is going to be a game-time decision for us, simply because we went through the same protocol last week,” said Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed. “It will be the exact same this week. We’ll get him out on the field early, we’ll run him and we’ll make the decision from there by exactly the same protocol as last week.”

Well, almost exactly.

There are a couple of not-so-subtle differences this time around that infer that a decision may already have been reached.

First of all, Stamps has been seen
