EDMONTON - The Edmonton Eskimos have won two home games since Aug. 10 last year. Two.

You have to start there. Before you make a case that the Eskimos really need to beat the B.C. Lions Saturday night at Commonwealth Stadium because their next two games are on the road in Vancouver and Montreal, etc., you have to deal with a much larger picture.

“We do need to have a good show after that tremendous disappointment at home in Week 1,” began coach Kavis Reed of the rancid display in losing the hope opener to Saskatchewan two weeks ago.
