Eskimo brawler sent to jail

EDMONTON - An Edmonton Eskimos offensive lineman is off to the slammer.

Devin Tyler is suspended from the team after being sentenced to 90 days in a Washington, D.C., jail for an assault at a bar in 2011.

Tyler was signed to the team with Dobson Collins in August 2011. He started in 11 regular season and playoff games last season.

Prior to signing with the Esks, he played in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals.
