It’s win and they’re in.

An Edmonton Eskimos victory over the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders on Thanksgiving Day would gobble up a spot in the post-season.

“Any time that you actually clinch a playoff spot it’s nice,” said quarterback Ricky Ray, whose team has missed three of the past five post-seasons since winning their last Grey Cup in 2005. “We know that’s on the line come Monday, but I think what you’ve got to try and avoid is thinking about all the different scenarios.

“You’ve just got to try to focus on the game you have ahead of you.”

As cliche as it sounds …

“I know it kind of gets boring when you just say: ‘We’re just worrying about this game,’ but really you’ve got to do that,” Ray said. “There is so much that can happen every game that you’ve just got to focus on going out there and winning that game.”

Long story short, whatever guarantees there may be, they’ve still got to win.
