EDMONTON - After getting banged up last Friday against Montreal, Edmonton Eskimos linebacker Greg Peach will be a game-time decision Friday in Vancouver.
If he’s a no-go, the Eskimos will turn to Mark Restelli, who is fresh off an NFL preseason run with the Miami Dolphins.
“Greg Peach didn’t practice (Monday) and it was an opportunity to get Mark some reps,” said Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed. “Being that he’s on the 46 (man active roster), I think it’s good for us.
“We’ll probably take both of them and make a game-time decision.”
Restelli had been a starter ever since joining the Eskimos in his rookie season in 2009, and took a run cracking and NFL roster this year. But he has been relegated to the reserve list since returning to Edmonton on Sept. 12, as coaches look to reintegrate him into the fold after missing half the season.
