Five back on Esks D-line
By GERRY MODDEJONGE, QMI Agency

And then there were five.

T.J. Hill's return to the strongside linebacker position heading into their season opener in Regina on Sunday finally makes a complete handful of returning Edmonton Eskimos who are resuming their duties on defence from last season.

Defensive end Greg Peach, middle linebacker Rod Davis, defensive backs Chris Thompson and Weldon Brown complete the set.

Prior to this week, Davis was the sole returning starter at linebacker.

"The thing about T.J., who is also my roommate, is he's a guy that can play multiple positions," Davis said. "He's a unique player in this league. It gives this D a lot of opportunity to do different things.

"It's good that, hopefully, he's back with the linebacker corps because it takes a little bit off the shoulders of some of the other guys."

What do you think of the name 'RedBlacks' for the new Ottawa CFL franchise?
  It's awful
  Guess it works
Meh, I don't follow the CFL
