Eskimos' Talbot retires

Edmonton - Edmonton Eskimos wide receiver Andre Talbot has decided to call it a career.
The 10-year veteran played for Edmonton in 2010 after spending his entire career with the Argonauts. Talbot had 27 catches for 301 yards and a touchdown in 13 games for the Eskimos.
Originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2001 CFL Canadian Draft, Talbot caught 288 passes for 3,703 yards and 18 touchdowns over 126 career games with Toronto and Edmonton.
Talbot won the Grey Cup in 2004 with the Argonauts.
"After 10 great years, I am now energized and inspired to go in a new direction," Talbot said. "I want to thank the Argonauts and Eskimos organizations, all my teammates and opponents over the years and most importantly, all the fans who rooted me on and who will continue to motivate and inspire young players of today."
