The Edmonton Eskimos have signed slotback Fred Stamps, defensive back Chris Thompson and defensive lineman Walter Curry to contract extensions.

"We are very pleased to sign these three young men to new contracts," said GM Eric Tillman. "Fred and Chris are established all-stars and, as high character guys, they also bring value to the locker room and the community. Walter, who joined us late in the season, is a strong interior player with a great work ethic. He was impressive in practice during October and with the benefit of a training camp we believe Walter will be a quality player for us, too."
