Secret weapons for today's East final

After all the hype and matchups have been broken down, these guys could play a bigger role today than you might think:

KR TRISTAN JACKSON, EDM

The Als did a great job against the rookie this season, keeping him to a 1.4-yard average per punt return.

After breaking down film this week, Jackson feels there are some holes to hit today.

"I'm very excited. (It's been) a great week of practice," said Jackson.

But Jackson could also play running back today, a position he had in high school. He had two carries for 18 yards in Regina on Oct. 25.

There hasn't been a carry since, but the team did have a practice out of sight yesterday.

NOEL PREFONTAINE, EDM

This isn't for the reason you might think.

While he might be called upon to make a clutch field goal today, his punting will be key.

In the only two cases where the opposition has returned a punt for a touchdown this year, Prefontaine has kicked the ball rather low.

The Eskimos' coverage unit will need plenty of hangtime and the ball placed between the hashmarks and the sideline.

P DAMON DUVAL, MTL

Hasn't played in nearly 21 days but is regarded as one of the top placement punters in the game.

The last thing the Alouettes want is Jackson getting the ball in the middle of the field for a return.

But Duval will also have to be quick on punts because one of Edmonton's two blocks this year came against Montreal.
