Git the ball to Tucker!

Ricky Ray and Danny Maciocia want to rectify a noticeable problem on Saturday afternoon against the Toronto Argos.

"We have got to find a way to get Jason Tucker more touches," said Maciocia.

In the last two games, Tucker has caught just three balls.

"You try to get your best players involved and we haven't been doing a very good job of that the last few games," said Ray.

Not only is Tucker the leading receiver with the Green and Gold by more than 300 yards, he has nabbed 10 touchdowns - six more than Ed Hervey and Mookie Mitchell, combined.

The fact the Argos held Tucker to just one catch on Monday isn't a huge surprise, though, as Toronto is the stingiest team in the league against the pass.

And with Troy Davis running the ball 22 times on Monday, Ray had fewer passing plays.

FINISH LINES: To no surprise, Davis earned the CFL's offensive player of the week for his 189 yards rushing on Thanksgiving Day.

"These are like consolation prizes to someone like myself," said Maciocia.

But the award points out that the young offensive line might be coming together.

"We have invested so much time," said Maciocia. "And I know that this is the way to go because in a year from now, it wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't one of the better - if not the best - offensive line in the CFL."
