Tim Bakker has returned to a much more familiar and enjoyable position - leaning over the football in the middle of the Edmonton Eskimo offensive line.
The starting centre for the Green and Gold was back at practice yesterday for the first time this week after leaning over the toilet Monday.
"I am feeling a little better. I had some 24-hour bug and I think I lost 13 pounds," said Bakker, who tipped the scale at 322 pounds before the vicious virus ran through his system.
"But I have already put four pounds back on just by drinking water."
More importantly for the Esks, Bakker will be back in the starting lineup Saturday in Winnipeg.
