CALGARY -- Tom Higgins doesn't like trash talk.

And the head coach of the Calgary Stampeders also isn't a fan of the touchdown dances that have become a tradition with his talented receiving core.

So, Higgins thought he had the perfect remedy this winter to cure the dance fever on his club: He would join the dance party.

After participating in the Calgary version of Dancing With The Stars - a dance class involving 11 members of the Stampeder organization in the off-season - Higgins threatened to show off his waltz moves during games.

"I said if anything good happens out on the field, I will come out to the numbers and I will start to dance," he explained. "I thought that would absolutely disgust them, but I got the opposite reaction because they said, 'we will give you (more) lessons.' "

If the Stamps score a touchdown tonight, expect another version of Saturday night dance fever in the end zone.
