THE HITS

RICKY RAY (QB): The most important player at camp finally looked razor sharp, consistently hitting receivers with plenty of zip on the ball.

ROOSEVELT WILLIAMS (DB): Notched one of only two interceptions on the day, continuing to make the cornerback position a wide-open battle.

THE MISSES

REGGIE MYLES (LB): Not only did SB Chris Collins easily beat him on a sideline pattern, but coach Dan Kepley barked at him so loud that every word could be clearly heard at the top of Clarke Stadium.

ROB LEBLANC (SB): In a dogfight to make the roster, he dropped a very catchable ball in an easy pattern at midfield. In this year's camp, that kind of mistake could be very costly.

ESKS-CETERA

Tony Tompkins returned to the field yesterday, running sharp routes and making the coaching staff breathe a little easier. The ace returner and backup receiver has been forced to the sidelines a few times during camp with a calf strain ... There were no cuts to report yesterday.

HURT PARADE

RB Nicolas Bisaillon (leg), LB Steven Marsh (ACL), DB Malcolm Frank (hip pointer), DL Randy Spencer (calf), DB Jason Nugent (ACL), FB Deitan Dubuc (hamstring), OL Patrick Kabongo (knee), DB William Loftus (shoulder), FB Mathieu Bertrand (groin), LB Antico Dalton (ankle)

Practice: 9-11:10 a.m.
