Clarke Park was the only place in the city yesterday where one could find more green and gold than copper and blue. And that suited Taylor Inglis just fine. The Esks' long snapper is focused enough on training camp to realize he's got a job to do. But that's during the day. At night, it's all about the Oilers and their run to the Stanley Cup.

"I'm watching every game and I'm on Whyte Avenue every night. Well, not every night. We had to be here early this morning," said the 22-year-old Edmonton native with a smile.

Linebacker J.P. Abraham grew up a fan of the Quebec Nordiques, but he's now an Oilers fan.

"I changed my mind when I got drafted by the Eskimos," said Abraham. "As soon as they made playoffs I was happy to be going to Edmonton and I started learning more about the team. I hope they're going to win."

And if there's a Stanley Cup victory parade?

"You'll definitely see me at some of the festivities," said Ed Hervey.
