JONATHAN HUNTINGTON -- Edmonton Sun

, Last Updated: 7:52 AM ET

REGGIE DURDEN (HB): Rock solid in one-on-one drills and showed great hands in a bizarre interception drill. Firing footballs at close range toward defensive backs out of an automatic baseball-pitching machine, Durden made several impressive grabs.

ROMAR CRENSHAW (WR): Although he's a longshot to find a starting spot among Edmonton's talented receiving core, the import made a few nice receptions yesterday.

AND MISSES

MATHIEU BERTRAND (FB): The talented Canadian missed a large portion of the second practice after getting an ice pack strapped to his right knee and his left groin wrapped. Bertrand doesn't believe it's serious.

PAT WOODCOCK (SB): One of the top receivers in camp so far, he was forced to the sidelines yesterday with a tight hamstring.

NOTES

With his family apparently still living in a tent city in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina, WR Milton Collins decided to leave training camp to return home. He has been suspended.

HURT PARADE

WR Chris Cole (back), FB Mike Maurer (foot), Returner Tony Tompkins (leg), DL Randy Spencer (calf), DB William Loftus (shoulder), DB Jason Nugent (ACL), RB Nicolas Bisaillon (leg).

AT CLARKE PARK TODAY: First practice - 7:50-9:30 a.m.; Second practice - 9:50-11:35 a.m.
