The three Golden Bears heading to the CFL combine have already caught Danny Maciocia's attention.
Now the goal is to make a lasting impression with the Eskimo head coach next week.
Here is Maciocia's analysis on the Bears invited to the evaluation camp:
ON JARRED WINKEL (RB): "He runs really hard from tackle to tackle. He has got good vision, meaning he runs to daylight -- and I think he can probably do a pretty good job on special teams."
ON JASON MILNE (S): "I know he is undersized, but he plays big. But I am curious to see him in the one-on-one drills."
ON DARRYL SALMON (SB): "It has been done before (the conversion from quarterback to receiver). Vince Danielsen did it in Calgary; he was playing quarterback at UBC. Chris Hardy, who played here, was playing quarterback at Manitoba. It will be interesting to see how (Salmon) handles himself (in the camp)."
