A 50-50 of $32,425.

A once-every-100-year Centennial Bowl which ended in a two-game total point tie.

The Battle of Alberta has its attractions, but when it comes to football, games between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos are hard to beat from a business point of view.

"We're told that there are 700,000 former Saskatchewan residents in the province of Alberta,'' said Rick LeLacheur, COO of the Eskimos.

''That's 20% of our population and we had to have more than 20% of them here today.''

It was the largest crowd of the season at Commonwealth Stadium and the turnout left the Eskimos with an average attendance of 42,482.

As for the 50-50 won by Eskimos' 10-year season ticket holder Dale Pratt of Edmonton, it was the largest regular season payout ever at an Eskimos game.
