A hostile crowd, swirling winds and a dynamite return man is no place for a rookie punter, so Sean Fleming is back in the lineup.
He still doesn't get his main job back - field goals - but he'll be punting in place of Hayden Epstein tomorrow at Taylor Field.
"It's good to be back, particularly this game,'' said Fleming. "It's an important game and Saskatchewan is always a difficult place to kick. I think I can add a certain number of things to our team. I'm looking forward to it.''
Fleming has been to Taylor Field enough that the wind and the crowd won't psych him out.
"I know what to expect. I've played in some rough conditions there before.''
Fleming has no idea how long he'll be back in the lineup, but hopes this is the start of something good.
"Hopefully this is a permanent thing but I also understand that however the roster shakes out is for the benefit of the team.
"Hopefully I come out and have a good game and continue to work on my field goals and hopefully get back to that as well.
"I care about the team and I care about winning so whatever the coaching staff feels is in the best interests of the team you have to go with that.''
Sitting out hasn't been easy, as an established veteran Fleming would have preferred to work out his field goal problems another way, but he's been a good company man about it.
