Frank picks off another award

Malcolm Frank has been scooping up honours by the basket-full of late.

The 36-year-old Edmonton Eskimos back got the nomination as the team's outstanding defensive player and was named to the CFL Western Division all-star team.

Yesterday Frank was named the CFL's defensive player of the month for October.

Frank recorded 23 tackles and established a new CFL record interceptions returned for a touchdown in a season.

The Baylor product set the record with his fifth of the year against Hamilton on Oct. 1.

His teammate Donny Brady was the runner-up for the monthly award.
