The Calgary Stampeders offence found the magic elixir.

It came in the form of the expansion Ottawa RedBlacks.

Having struggled to move the ball with any consistency for three straight games, the Stamps turned a fake field-goal into an early touchdown and never looked back, beating up on Henry Burris and the RedBlacks, 38-17, at McMahon Stadium on Saturday evening.

Bo Levi Mitchell threw three touchdown passes and ran in an eight-yard TD off the fake field-goal, as the 24-year-old quarterback threw for 289 yards on 26-of-36 passing.

In his mind, it was a step in the right direction.
