There’s still the question of if the Calgary Stampeders will take the field Sunday.

But there’s no question of who will be taking the field on the first day of training camp — slated for June 1 at McMahon Stadium — if the CFL and CFLPA can hammer out a new CBA by then.

With rookie camp set to get going — freshman sessions will run Thursday and Friday (10 a.m. and 4 p.m.) at McMahon — the Stamps put the finishing touches on the roster Tuesday, signing 16 players, including six-of-nine 2014 draft picks.

Concordia defensive lineman Quinn Smith (first round), Concordia linebacker Max Caron (second round), Western offensive lineman Joe Circelli (third round), Queen’s defensive lineman Derek Wiggan (fourth round), McMaster kicker/punter Tyler Crapigna (fifth round) and Western fullback Brian Marshall (seventh round) all signed on the dotted line.
