CALGARY - The Calgary Stampeders are mourning another loss.

Following a year that saw the franchise say goodbye to a number of prominent alumni, former defensive lineman Randy Trautman died in his sleep Sunday at the age of 53.

Trautman, who suited up in 50 games with the Stamps from 1982-85, was a West Division all-star in both ’83 and ’84.

In that ’83 campaign, he led the team with 12 sacks, and finished with 31 in his career.
