CALGARY - Heading into the off-season, Maurice Price was expecting to test out the free-agent market in a search for stability.

The Calgary Stampeders gave him exactly that long before the playmaking wideout got a sniff of the open market, inking the 28-year-old receiver to a new contract that will keep him in town for three more seasons.

When Price left the McMahon Stadium facilities for the final time in 2013 a little more than three weeks ago, he wasn’t sure what the future held.

But Stamps GM/head coach John Hufnagel worked quickly to lock up one of the CFL’s premier deep-threats, and Price returned the love.
