CALGARY - War of words?

Count Charleston Hughes in.

The Calgary Stampeders pass-rusher extraordinaire has spent the past couple of weeks wading through all the talk emanating from the Wheat Province, and it finally boiled over.

"I mean, it's almost to the point where I'm just tired of hearing them talk," Hughes said Thursday, one day after the 29-year-old defensive end sent out a series of tweets directed at anyone in green who'd listen. "We're actually being the gentlemen and not really saying much. We're just keeping quiet and waiting until Saturday comes to play the game. I'm just tired of hearing it, so I figure, 'You know what? If ain't nobody going to speak out, I'll be the one to speak out about it.' "
