CALGARY - You don’t need to sell many on the hype.

Kevin Glenn included.

The Calgary Stampeders quarterback can see why fans are frothing at the mouth in anticipation of Saturday’s showdown with the Saskatchewan Roughriders at McMahon Stadium (5 p.m., TSN, News Talk 770).

Bitter rivalry.

Big-time playoff implications.

Kory Sheets vs. Jon Cornish.

Did we mention bitter rivalry?

“There’s a lot of things that go into this game,” Glenn said, following Wednesday’s practice session at McMahon. “The rivalry of Calgary-Saskatchewan. The past couple of years what’s been going on, even before I got here, of the rivalry in the West. It being a game for first place. You got the two leading rushers in the league going head-to-head. You got the two top teams in the league going head-to-head. I mean, there’s a lot of stuff to play up with this game.”
