CALGARY - The outcome was never in doubt.

The Calgary Stampeders insisted they wouldn’t take the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for granted, and they didn’t.

The Stamps jumped out to a quick lead and kept the foot on the gas en route to a 38-11 cakewalk at McMahon Stadium.

The win puts the Stamps (11-3) in the driver’s seat heading down the home stretch.

Career-best numbers

He’s had a few of these, but you simply can’t ignore a career-high 208 yards rushing.

The Bombers had no answer for the CFL’s rushing leader, who needs just 43 yards to eclipse his own record, set last season, for the most yards rushing by a Canadian running back (1,457 yards).

Cornish, who spent most of the fourth quarter on the sidelines, was the first Stamps running back to top 200 yards since Willie Burden r
