CALGARY - There won’t be any McMahon Stadium mop-up duty for Bo Levi Mitchell this time around.

With the second-year quarterback set to start back-to-back games for the first time in his young CFL career, the Calgary Stampeders starter will do it in front of the Red & White faithful for the first time.

Sort of.

Mitchell’s two starts this season have come in unfriendly territory — Winnipeg and Edmonton to be exact — but the 6-foot-2, 204-lb. Texan has entered the fray twice at home when injured starters went down.

Coming off a 19-of-26, 175-yard performance in Week 11 that featured some ups and downs, Mitchell is keeping it simple heading into Friday’s clash with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (7 p.m., TSN, News Talk 770).
