CALGARY - The ball is in Bo’s hands.
Calgary Stampeders GM/head coach John Hufnagel said Bo Levi Mitchell will likely make his second CFL start Friday in Edmonton (7 p.m., TSN/News Talk 770).
“If we had to play today, Bo would be our number one, Drew (Tate) number two and Kevin (Glenn) would be number three,” Hufnagel said. “I can’t tell you what Friday will bring.
“Kevin is sore but I have a lot of sore players who aren’t practising.”
Glenn was forced to leave the Labour Day Classic in the second quarter after twisting his knee.
Mitchell completed 11 of 18 passes for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns the rest of the way.
The 23-year-old said he’s excited to get the starting nod.
“It’s another chance for me to get out there and get some more experience,” Mitchell said.
“It’s the same as Winnipeg. I just treat it the exact same."
