Mike Reilly must have felt like a pinata at a kid's birthday party.
Calgary Stampeders sack-master Charleston Hughes was the kid looking for the most candy as he took down the Edmonton Eskimos quarterback three times.
"It was a bit of a sack-fest," Hughes said of his team's seven sacks.
"But that what us d-linemen want to do. We want to sack quarterbacks.
"We want to get after it."
Linebacker Juwan Simpson had a pair of quarterback spikes, while defensive linemen Justin Phillips and Cordarro Law also got in on the fun.
Defensive tackle Demonte' Bolden got good pressure up the middle, but wasn't able to get his hands on Reilly.
"It was a nice, little sack-fest," Bolden said. "I was trying to be a part of it.
"All night, I was doing the set-up (for Hughes and Co.). But coach says it always comes around.
"But hopefully next game I'll be part of the sack festival."
