CALGARY - Despite his small stature at a pint-sized 5-foot-6 and 175 lb., Larry Taylor is quite noticeable when he’s on the field.

The Calgary Stampeders’ dynamic 28-year-old return man is a threat to put six points on the board every time the ball finds his hands.

More touches?

Yes, please, says the man who decided to forego CFL free agency to re-sign in the Stampede City this off-season.

“I mean … would I like a bigger role? Yeah, in some cases,” Taylor said. “But we have a very talented group of wide receivers and running backs, and I know my role on this team. Special teams is my main focus. That’s what I focus on. The bonus comes when I get a couple offensive plays, and I want to take advantage of it.

“I just feel good about it when I do hear my name called or when they say, ‘LT, we’re going to consider you on offence’ or whatever.”
