Lyle Bauer has resigned from the Calgary Stampeders.

As a result of the ownership restructuring that took place in the spring of 2012, the Stampeders announced today the resignation of President/COO Lyle Bauer. Bauer has agreed to stay on in a consulting role to effect a smooth executive transition.

“I have enjoyed my time with the Stampeders immensely and thank the ownership group and fans for a wonderful opportunity,” said Bauer. “The team is in good hands to carry on our commitment to solid community ownership and high-performance football.”
