Here are three keys to victory for the Calgary Stampeders against the rival Edmonton Eskimos in Monday's Labour Day Classic at McMahon Stadium:
1. Rush Ricky — Two weeks ago, the Eskimos allowed eight sacks in a loss to the B.C. Lions. The Stamps will want to keep up the pressure to make Eskimos QB Ricky Ray get rid of the ball quickly.
2. Run the ball — The rushing attack was abandoned last week against the Montreal Alouettes as starting tailback Joffrey Reynolds and backup Jon Cornish only got three carries each. Clock management will be a key component in this one.
3. Make field goals — When the Stamps lost to Eskimos earlier this season, a key missed field goal allowed the visitors to keep the late lead. The Stamps need to capitalize on chances if they stall in scoring range.
