CALGARY - Keon Raymond will be back in Red & White col-ours next season after the Calgary Stampeders inked the import outside linebacker to a new contract.

Thanks to his defensive versatility and on-field production in recent CFL campaigns, the Stamps were quick to lock up the 28-year-old St. Louis, Mo., product this off-season.

"He is a versatile athlete who has played several positions for our club over the past three seasons," Stampeders coach and GM John Hufnagel said in announcing Raymond's re-signing.

The club did not disclose terms of the deal.

The 5-ft.-10, 195 lb. Raymond started all 18 regular- season games and the West Division Final at the outside linebacker position during 2010.

With four interceptions, he was just one off the team lead through 2010 in that category, and his four picks put him in a tie for seventh among all CFL players.

In past seasons, Raymond has also played in the halfback and cornerback positions for the Stampeders. He was originally signed as a free agent by the Stamps in 2008.
