CALGARY STAMPEDERS (10-6-1)

AT

SASK. RIDERS (9-7-1)

HEAD-TO-HEAD

This is the third meeting between the rivals this season, with the Riders winning 24-23 Aug. 1 and the teams playing to a 44-44 tie Oct. 17, both times at McMahon Stadium. The Stamps are 4-6 in their last 10 games in Regina.

KEY STAT

22 -- Points the Riders scored after the three-minute warning in the last meeting between the two teams. It was a touchdown before the end of regulation with a two-point conversion and two TDs in overtime.

KEY MATCHUP

Stamps WR Romby Bryant vs. Riders DB Omarr Morgan -- Bryant didn't have much success against the Riders in the last meeting, only getting two catches for 23 yards, but that is due in large part to Morgan's abilities. Since then, Bryant has 330 yards in two games.

KEYS TO VICTORY

1. Check Chick, tie up Baggs --The book-end defensive ends have a combined 21 sacks between them and the Stamps offensive line has to push them outside and run down the middle.

2. Force Durant -- Although Riders QB Darian Durant has thrown for more than 4,000 yards, he has tossed 21 interceptions against 22 touchdowns. The turnover differential could be the difference.

3. Strong-arm Armstead -- Despite coming in mid-season, returner Jason Armstead was the Riders nominee for most outstanding special teams player. In a tie with the Stamps three weeks ago, Armstead had a 49-yard kickoff return.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON

#83 ANDY FANTUZ, RIDERS

The slotback had just signed a contract extension the last time the Riders met the Stamps. He made good on the deal, catching 10 passes for 149 yards and a game-tying TD before the end of regulation.

#82 NIK LEWIS

A week ago, the slotback scored his first TD of the season. He's 56 yards away from his sixth straight 1,000-yard season. If he gets there without another major, he'd be the first to have one TD and 1,000 yards.

#20 WES CATES

The former Stampeders running back needs 122 yards to reach the 1,000-yard mark. If he does, he would be the eighth starting running back in the CFL to do it this season.
