With a short work week, the Calgary Stampeders don't expect to make any roster moves for tomorrow's rematch with the Edmonton Eskimos.

You wouldn't know it by watching practice.

Nik Lewis (hip) and Burke Dales (hamstring) sat out the only preparation session the team gets before travelling to Edmonton today.

Lewis was hit with an elbow on an onside kick attempt by the Eskimos in the final minute of a 32-8 win Monday, but said he will be ready to go tomorrow.

"You get paid more. There are two paycheques this week. That's the best thing about this series," Lewis said. "Other than that, it's not particularly fun, especially having the first one at home.

"We have to travel the day before the game and their team has a chance to be at home with more time to go over stuff. They can relax."

Stamps head coach John Hufnagel plans on keeping the same roster as Monday's win, despite having Canadian defensive end Justin Phillips (sprained ankle) back on the practice field.

To make room for defensive ends Charleston Hughes and Tearrius George, the Stamps released import linebacker Matt Grootegoed yesterday.

The club has also extended linebacker Lemarcus Rowell, defensive back Brandon Smith and offensive lineman Derek Armstrong on the nine-game injured list, meaning their seasons are over.
