One day after the club revealed he has a heart murmur, linebacker JoJuan Armour vowed he'll be back in action as soon as he gets the green light from the medical staff.

Armour skipped practice yesterday and did not address the media, but posted a blog on the club's website saying, "I don't think there's anything that will stop me from playing or producing on the field."

Armour, 32, is awaiting the results of precautionary tests. He was hanging around the sidelines yesterday, but did not participate in on-field activities.

"I know I'll get through this and I can't wait to get back on the field," Armour wrote.

"It's something that I can't help. There's nothing I can change. Right now, I'm at a point in my life where I'll just roll with the punches and whatever I need to do to protect myself, I'll do that."

Several other veterans missed practice time yesterday, including receivers Ken-Yon Rambo (hamstring) and Brett Ralph (hamstring), safety Wes Lysack (knee), offensive lineman Jeff Pilon (knee) and kicker Sandro DeAngelis (ankle).
