THREE STARS

1. Alouettes SB Ben Cahoon -- Scored his first two touchdowns of the season, including the 50th of his career, and was the go-to guy again for the Als with nine catches.

2. Alouettes QB Anthony Calvillo -- Completed 82.7% of his passes while managing the offence well and killing the clock late in the fourth quarter.

3. Stamps DB Brandon Browner -- Two forced fumbles on Alouettes RB Jarrett Payton, both of which resulted in TDs for the visitors.

WHY THE STAMPS LOST

They struggled to move the ball on offence until late in the game, plus they couldn't shut down the Als running attack led by Jarrett Payton. When the Alouettes needed a clock-killing drive late in the game, the Stamps defence couldn't stop them, allowing a touchdown.

GREAT CATCH

Stampeders SB Jeremaine Copeland turned his body around to haul in a Henry Burris pass at the Als' one-yard line. Copeland was completely covered but managed to reach behind him and secure the ball while going out of bounds.

HUGE HIT

Alouettes WR Ashlan Davis caught a swing pass from QB Anthony Calvillo, only to turn straight in a crushing blow from Stamps DB Brandon Browner.

KEY STAT

141 -- Rushing yardage of Alouettes RB Jarrett Payton, although he fumbled twice, for his first CFL 100-yard game.
