SUN THREE STARS:

1. STAMPS QB HENRY BURRIS -- Finished 16-of-25 passing for 310 yards, plus had 88 yards along the ground and a touchdown from 15 yards out.

2. STAMPS LB CORNELIUS ANTHONY -- Was a monster performer, sacking Ricky Ray three times, forcing a Troy Davis fumble that was returned for a touchdown and making four tackles.

3. STAMPS RB JOFFREY REYNOLDS -- A beast in the score zone by running in touchdowns for seven and five yards. Finished with 96 yards rushing to raise his league-leading total to 969.

WHY THE STAMPS WON:

They are simply better than the Edmonton Eskimos and proved they can overcome a few errors to nail down a huge victory. They forced turnovers on defence, played solid special teams and put points on the board when they hit the score zone.

GREAT CATCH:

Stamps DB Tony Tiller snagged a bullet from Eskimos QB Ricky Ray that was intended for SB Derrell (Mookie) Mitchell. Mitchell came across the middle and saw Stamps LB Brian Clark in his way and let up slightly to give Tiller the interception off his fingertips.

KEY STAT:

88 -- The number of rushing yards by Stamps QB Henry Burris. The pivot kept several drives going by scampering out of the pocket. He even somersaulted Malcolm Frank for a 15-yard touchdown at the end of the first half.

HUGE HIT:

Stamps DL Rahim Abdullah blasted through the Eskimos offensive line and drilled QB Ricky Ray hard to the turf. Ray was on his back so many times in the game, it's difficult to count them all. The Stamps recorded five sacks.

NOTABLES:

Stamps RB Wes Cates caught a 74-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, the first score of his CFL career ... The sellout was measured at 35,744 spectators, the best attendance of any game this season ... The Stamps raised $24,300 for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.
