How the devil are you?

Good, man, good. I can't complain.

It's a Saturday night and you're not playing. What are you going to do?

I'll probably just be at the house watching a movie like my Aliens 1, 2 and 3 for a movie night and sit back. If there's nothing going on, I might go out to another movie.

You don't sound too much like a party animal?

Nah, I'm not too much of a party animal. I do like to get out and venture into the world sometimes, you know.

Talkative, maybe?

Nah, I give that one to Nik (Lewis, Stamps receiver). That's not me. Outgoing.

What were you like in school?

I was an outgoing, friendly guy. I talked to everybody. I was a friendly guy. I like to introduce myself and talk to everybody. I studied a little bit and I got my degree.

What is your cellphone ring tone?

What have I got in there now? Tonite by DJ Quik.

Who's the most famous person in your cellphone?

Oh, shoot! Probably Darren Woodson of the Cowboys.

What's your poison?

Coconuts and bananas. I hate coconuts and bananas, that's my poison. You give me that and I'm down for the count.

What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever bought?

A key chain from Spencers. I won't say what it was. They've got all kinds of crazy stuff. It's like a joke shop. It was a little foul.

What was your first car?

My first car was a '94 Toyota Corolla in my senior year of high school. A little four-door green with my little CD player.

Can you do any repairs?

No. I'm no mechanic. I can change a tire, that's it.

What's the best advice you received?

Be a leader, never a follower. My father told me that.

What's your culinary speciality?

My best dish is ox tails. Peas carrots, rice, green beans. It's a great dish, man. My mom taught me how to cook that.

What TV series would you want on DVD?

I want Martin, Jamie Foxx, Fred Sanford (Sanford and Son), I want all those man.

What's your favourite unhealthy food?

McDonald's. Love that! I get the Big Mac, no pickles, six-pack of Chicken McNuggets on the side. Love it. Can't beat that, man.

Favourite place to holiday?

Miami, anytime of the year, other than hurricane season. A great holiday.

What's the best concert you've seen?

The Up in Smoke concert with Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, all those guys.

If you weren't playing football, what would you be doing?

I'd probably be selling real estate.

What was the best year of your life?

Best year was when God gave me another chance after I was shot in my junior year of high school, three inches from my spine. He gave me another chance at life in 1996.

If you have a few hours to kill, book or video game?

NBA Live on Playstation, Madden, any game on Playstation. As soon as we get in the house, we pop that in. We take it on the road, too.

What's your worst habit?

Oh, man. My worst habit is, oh man, calling somebody back on time. Sometimes I don't check my voicemails and they build up on me.

What's the strangest piece of fan mail?

One time a person told me to send them an autographed football card.

Could you be convinced to karaoke and if so what would you sing?

You've got to give me an old-school R&B song, like R Kelly ... I need a couple of drinks so my mind starts. I can't just get up there and start karaoking because that's not me. I need a few beers in me.
