SUN THREE STARS:

1. Stamps QB Henry Burris -- Was solid in almost every facet of the game. Finished 20-of-33 passing for 399 yards with an interception and fumble. Big throw on the game-winning drive.

2. Stamps K Sandro DeAngelis -- Sophomore kicked the winning 45-yard field goal at the gun.

3. Stamps SB Nik Lewis -- Admittedly slumping in the past few weeks, Lewis had a huge first half and was Henry Burris' best available target. He finished with seven catches for 162 yards.

WHY THE STAMPS WON:

They managed to overcome myriad turnovers and get a game-winning drive and field goal from Henry Burris and Sandro DeAngelis, respectively. By all accounts, they shouldn't have won.

GREAT CATCH:

Stamps slotback Nik Lewis shook off some early-season jitters and made a great over-the-shoulder grab on a bomb from Henry Burris in the second quarter. Lewis stretched out to dive for the deep ball and a 46-yard gain.

HUGE HITS:

Stamps DL Sheldon Napastuk had a wide-open look at Ticats QB Jason Maas and took the opportunity to drill him.

KEY STAT:

31 -- The number of points scored in the first half while the Stampeders offence was on the field. Only 17 of those counted for Calgary, as two turnovers went for Tiger-Cats touchdowns.

NOTABLES:

Former Stampeders president Ron Rooke won $12,000 in the 50-50 draw ... Stamps OL Jeff Pilon missed his first game since becoming a full-time starter in 2002 ... DL Demetrious Maxie played in his 150th career CFL game ... Stamps SB Nik Lewis passed 2,500 receiving yards for his career, which is only in its third season.

UP NEXT:
