HOW THE DEVIL ARE YOU?

Doing great.

IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT AND YOU'RE NOT PLAYING. WHATCHA GONNA DO?

I'll stop by Blockbuster and pick up a suspense and a comedy and see which one lands on its face. Whichever one lands face up will be watched.

PICK FIVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF.

Smart, funny, stern, stubborn, stern, friendly, laid-back.

WHAT WERE YOU LIKE IN HIGH SCHOOL?

A firecracker. It was a blur. I was easily angered and I didn't really think much. I was real headstrong. I really didn't follow directions very well. I marched to the beat of my own drum.

WHAT'S YOUR MOST TREASURED MATERIAL POSSESSION?

A picture I have of my grandmother.

IF WE'RE BUYING, WHATCHA DRINKING?

Crown Royal with a little Coke.

WHO'S THE LAST PERSON YOU PUNCHED AND WHY?

Does a game count? I don't know. Probably back in college was the last time I got into a fight. A guy popped me in the butt with a towel when I was going to the shower. I told you I wasn't level-headed back in those days.

WHAT'S THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING YOU'VE EVER BOUGHT?

One of those rubber hand slappers that you throw to something and it comes back. I bought it to see if I could throw it and catch paper and bring it back to me.

WHAT'S THE BEST ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?

From my dad: No matter how many people you are with, you are always alone.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?

It was a 1977 Cougar. It was a two-door with a long front end, baby blue. It had a white top. I had it three months.

WHAT HAPPENED TO IT?

I got another car. My dad was a mechanic, so I kept something he had to ride in. Then I got a Rabbit and it was much easier to drive.

WHAT CAR REPAIRS CAN YOU PERFORM?

Everything. I'm a part-time mechanic myself. I could fix just about anything. On my third car, I rebuilt the engine. It was a 1982 Monte Carlo I bought it from a lady who blew the engine. I bought the car from her for $200 and it was in real great shape. She just never changed the oil and blew the engine. I went to the junkyard, got an engine block and transferred all the parts over to the new engine block. I drove that for an entire year.

COULD YOU DO ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR NOW?

There's too many electronics. I can change the oil and stuff like that but I won't fool with it. If you unplug something, it could set the computer off. Anything before the '90s I can work on.

WHAT'S YOUR CULINARY SPECIALTY?

Sweets. I'm a baker, pies, cakes and that stuff. I love sweets. I can eat that all day but I'm not fond of chocolate. My two favourite things are lemon cake and sweet potato pie.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE UNHEALTHY FOOD?

Everything I have is unhealthy. Sweets is what I like the most.

WHAT'S YOUR CELLPHONE RINGTONE?

Just the regular one off the phone.

WHO'S THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON IN YOUR PHONE BOOK?

Troy Brown (of the New England Patriots). He played pretty well last week.

ARE YOU EASILY EMBARRASSED?

No. I grew up in a family where the ultimate goal is to be loud and have a good time. Being embarrassed is not something that happens. I can laugh through anything.

WHAT TV SHOW DO YOU WANT ON DVD?

I'm a big cartoon fanatic as you know. I like Yu-Gi-Oh and The Wire. If Martin ever came out, I would be in line for that.

WHAT'S THE BEST CONCERT YOU'VE SEEN?

I went to a 112 concert in college. It was at Marshall for the yearly kickoff.

IF YOU WEREN'T A FOOTBALL PLAYER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

Probably be teaching or coaching football.

DO YOU COLLECT YOUR MEMORABILIA?

I do collect it but I'm not a collector. I keep stuff but most of it is in bags in my basement. I just keep it to give away to people. I don't make scrapbooks.

DO YOU LIKE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS?

I love doing that because you have to give back to the fans. They are the reason I have a job. If they didn't support us, I wouldn't be here.

WHERE DO YOU WANNA HOLIDAY?

I would probably go to Hawaii. I've never been there.

WHAT WOULD WE ALWAYS FIND IN YOUR FRIDGE?

Water. I always try to keep hydrated. I don't have all the basics like condiments. Normally I just eat sweets, for dinner, supper and sometimes breakfast.

WHAT WAS THE BEST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE?

My junior year of high school. My mother was still alive and I didn't have a worry in the world. I had passed my SATs so I knew I could get into college.

WHAT'S YOUR WORST HABIT?

Watching television.

WHAT MOVIE MADE YOU TEARY-EYED?

Friday Night Lights. I dropped a tear.

FUNNIEST THING DURING YOUR TIME WITH THE STAMPS?

Have you ever seen Brian Clark and the explosion? When he switches personalities, sometimes that's really funny. We don't know what he's going to do. Sometimes George White and I look at each other and laugh. Clark is going AWOL and we don't know what he's even mad about.

ANY SUPERSTITIONS?

None. There's nothing I do routinely. I don't have any superstitions because I don't have any repetitions. I can't take medicine every day because it's routine and I don't do routines.

UGLIEST THING IN YOUR WARDROBE?

I don't have too many ugly clothes. Everything I have I absolutely love. I do have a Hawaiian shirt with blue and white flowers that would qualify.

COULD YOU BE CONVINCED TO KARAOKE AND, IF SO, WHAT'S YOUR SONG?

I did that at the end of last season at the Regal Beagle on Centre Street. What's the song I sang? "Honey I'm home and I had a hard day, grab me a cold one."

IT'S SHANIA TWAIN. DO YOU LIKE COUNTRY MUSIC?

I do but I like the ones like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson. I don't like the old country but the more of the pop country.
