PLAYERS OF THE GAME:

OFFENCE -- Stampeders SB Nik Lewis delivered on his promise of carving up the Eskimos secondary. The powerful receiver caught eight passes for 145 yards and turned Shannon Garrett inside out on a 21-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter.

DEFENCE -- Stampeders DB Jermaine Chatman stepped in front of a Ricky Ray pass and returned it for a 67-yard touchdown, Joey Boese picked off a tipped pass and Trey Young had a late pick as the Stampeders secondary dominated the Eskimos passing game.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

Stampeders WR MarTay Jenkins continued this season's impressive tackling on coverage units. Jenkins nailed Dahrran Diedrick on the kickoff after catching a 50-yard touchdown pass from Henry Burris.

TURNING POINT:

After the Stamps turned the ball over on a missed pitchout to Joffrey Reynolds, the Eskimos gave it right back when Joey Boese picked off a tipped Ricky Ray pass. Quarterback Henry Burris hit Nik Lewis with a 21-yard touchdown reception to regain a 20-point lead with eight minutes left.

CATCH OF THE GAME:

Stampeders DB Joey Boese kept his eyes on a tipped ball and made a diving grab to snag the ball before it hit the turf. The interception led to a crucial fourth-quarter touchdown by Nik Lewis.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Stamps RB David Allen scampered through the Eskimos linebacking crew but met safety Kelly Wiltshire, who slammed him around the shoulder pads, spinning him down to the ground.

NOTABLES:

Eskimos QB Ricky Ray set a single-season record for pass completions, finishing with 479 on the season to break Doug Flutie's mark of 466 from 1991 ... By virtue of no quarterback sacks in the game, Calgary won the sack race 47 to Edmonton's 46 ... Stamps LB George White has seven defensive tackles to tie Toronto's Kevin Eiben with the league lead at 113 ... Edmonton SB Jason Tucker caught eight passes for 133 yards to lead the league in receiving with 1,411. Stamps SB Nik Lewis vaulted himself into second at 1,379 with eight grabs for 145 yards.
