TV: TSN (SUBJECT TO LOCAL BLACKOUT)

RADIO: 770 AM -- QR77

COMING IN:

Calgary enjoyed a bye week after a 32-11 loss to the Montreal Alouettes at McMahon Stadium but the Stamps have won three of the last four.

Hamilton was pounded 43-21 by the Renegades in Ottawa last week but the Ticats have won three of their last six games.

HEAD-TO-HEAD:

Calgary beat the Ticats 39-17 last month in Hamilton but their record is 4-6 in the last 10 head-to-head matchups.

The Stamps hold the edge in the all-time series, 42-27.

INJURIES:

CALGARY -- LB Marc Calixte (toe), QB Jason Gesser (ankle), KR Terrence Wilkins (knee).

HAMILTON -- WR Archie Amerson, DB Maha Atogwe, DL Troy Cunningham, OL Mark Moroz, LB Matt Petz, WR Steve Suter, DB Jykinne Bradley, DL Hakeem Kashama, WR Kahlil Hill, OL Travis Claridge.

ROSTER MOVES:

CALGARY -- No. 1 QB Henry Burris will take over as the starter after missing three games with torn thumb ligaments (left hand).

Canadian S Wes Lysack (trade with Winnipeg) makes his season debut with the Stamps and takes the spot of backup RB Craig Carr.

New return specialist David Allen replaces Terrence Wilkins (knee) and will back up Joffrey Reynolds at running back.

DB Joey Boese has recovered from his hamstring injury and replaces Coby Rhinehart, while DL Demetrious Maxie is back from a broken leg and takes out Jerame Southern.

HAMILTON -- QB Marcus Brady will start ahead of veteran Danny McManus as the Ticats look towards the future.

Canadian SB Brock Ralph makes his Ticats debut after being acquired in a trade with Edmonton and replaces Iain Fleming.

Import RB Howard Jackson will back up Jesse Lumsden and replaces import OL Travis Claridge.

Import WR Taylor Stubblefield replaces returner/WR Kahlil Hill, who was injured last week, while new third-string QB Kevin Eakins replaces Jon Beutjer.

WHO'S HOT:

CALGARY -- RB Joffrey Reynolds has 318 yards in his last six quarters.

HAMILTON -- Former Stampeders DL James Cotton has nine sacks this season while DL Tim Cheatwood has five in only six games.

WHO'S NOT:

CALGARY -- SB Jeremaine Copeland has only four catches for 59 yards in the past two games with one touchdown but should benefit from the return of QB Henry Burris.

HAMILTON -- WR Craig Yeast caught only two passes for 15 yards in a loss to Ottawa last week.

SPECIAL TEAMS:

CALGARY -- K Sandro DeAngelis has hit on 31-of-41 field goals (75.6%, 3rd in CFL), while P Burke Dales has booted for a 43.4-yard average (4th).

HAMILTON -- K Jamie Boreham has hit on 19-of-22 field goals (86.4%, 1st), while also punting for a 38.9-yard average (9th).

NOTABLES:

* In an effort to keep Henry Burris healthy, rookie backup Josh Harris will handle short yardage plays, such as quarterback sneaks.

* DL Demetrious Maxie returns this week from a broken leg but is not listed as the starter. Terrence Patrick, who has performed admirably in Maxie's absence, will split time with the veteran and start at end.

* With SB Brock Ralph joining the Ticats roster this week, the game marks the third time in less than two month Stamps WR Brett Ralph will face his older brother. The two had never played a competitive game against each other until Labour Day in Calgary.

* Former U of C Dinos standout Agustin Barrenechea signed a one-year extension yesterday with the Tiger-Cats. Barrenechea is the Ticats' starting middle linebacker.

* Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd, a.k.a. Elwood Blues from Blues Brothers movie fame, is expected in attendance at McMahon Stadium tonight. Aykroyd is promoting a brand of tequila called Patron, distributed by a company he owns.
