PLAYERS OF THE GAME:

OFFENCE -- Former Stampeder Terry Vaughn made plenty of yardage up after the catch for the Alouettes and caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Calvillo in the second quarter. Vaughn finished with eight catches for 98 yards.

DEFENCE -- Alouettes S Richard Karikari was a ball-hawk in the secondary, twice picking off Stampeders quarterback Danny Wimprine. The two picks puts Karikari in a tie for most interceptions in the CFL with eight and hard-hitting safety also knocked out Stamps RB Joffrey Reynolds with a punishing blow.

SPECIAL TEAMS -- Despite mishandling a snap in the fourth quarter, Stamps P Burke Dales was deadly accurate placing his boots. Dales also recorded an 86-yard single in the first quarter.

TURNING POINT:

The Stampeders were hanging tough until early in the fourth quarter when Burke Dales mishandled the snap on a punt. The Als sacked him and took over the 23-yard line to set up a Eric Lapointe three-yard TD run that gave Montreal a 17-point lead.

CATCH OF THE GAME:

Alouettes SB Terry Vaughn showed the veteran savvy to find a small hole in the secondary to grab a 32-yard TD reception. Vaughn was completely covered on the play by defender Jermaine Chatman but managed to reel it in.

HIT OF THE GAME:

Stamps returner MarTay Jenkins took a kickoff and was sprinting up the sidelines until Alouettes S Richard Karikari grabbed his shoulder pads and spun him hard out of bounds.

NOTABLES:

Stamps P Burke Dales booted an 86-yard single in the first quarter, the fifth longest punt in team history ... RB Joffrey Reynolds passed the 1,000-yard mark early in the game to become the Stamps first back to crack that mark since 2002 when Kelvin Anderson was in his final season in Calgary. Reynolds left with a leg injury but finished with 133 yards on 10 carries. He went for an MRI during the game but the results won't be known until today ... Stamps receiver Nik Lewis passed the 1,000-yard mark for the second straight season.
